Bataleon Magic Carpet Review The Bataleon Magic Carpet has a design that you can’t find on many boards – a wide, twin shaped powder board. I was pretty skeptical, and didn’t expect that I would like it too much.
Bataleon Wallie 2021 Review The Bataleon Wallie is a super soft park and jib board, that makes pressing and buttering as easy as it could ever be. It does have a unique looking nose and tail, and each size comes in a different solid colour.
The Capita Birds Of A Feather is their popular, ride everywhere womens board that has the right balance of camber and features to make it a fun to ride everywhere. It shares the same features as the award winning mens DOA, and is made in lots of sizes as is it such a popular choice.
A mix between the Funslinger and Proto Type Two, that is combined with the new Shock Wave camber profile. While the Funslinger and Proto both had their good place in the line, I think that this is a good replacement for park riders.
A big upgrade from the Proto Type Two, the Synthesis has a far more aggressive Shock Wave camber profile which I loved.
The original Proto had a decent upgrade to the Proto Type Two, which gave it the asymmetrical shape and more aggressive Ripsaw camber profile. The next step up is the Synthesis, which has a bigger step up in the camber profile, and a few extra features added in the core.
Burton Free Thinker 2020 Review The Burton Free Thinker is a medium flexing, traditional camber twin board, which is exactly the type of ride I like. It is one of the two of Danny Davis’ boards, while the other Deep Thinker has a directional shape and directional camber. These sit in the middle of the Burton range, with decent features,…
Capita Asymulator 2020 Review Although it seems like a new model this year, the Capita Asymulator is the new name for the older Spring Break Twin. I guess that over the past couple of seasons it got popular enough to move into the regular Capita lineup.
GNU Hyak 2018 The GNU Hyak is a new board for 2018, and has replaced the original Carbon Credit. For a while it was a bit confusing, with the Carbon Credit coming in two versions, the regular and an Asym version. To make things easier, the Carbon Credit is only asym now, and the Hyak is what the old Carbon Credit…
Salomon Sleepwalker 2018 Review The Sleepwalker is a new board for the 2018 season, and I’ll call it now and say that this is going to be a pretty popular board. Overall its a twin jib/park board, that rides like a Villain, but costs a whole bunch less.
Salomon Ultimate Ride 2021 Review A board that was added to the Salomon range in 2017, that won best overall board in the 2018 Blackboard experiment, and for me it is the best board that I have ridden. The Ultimate Ride is a mid/stiff flexing, twin shaped, almost full camber freestyle board.
