In an ideal situation, if you were buying all of your snowboard gear in one shot, you would divide up your budget something like this:
Spend the most on boots, followed by the snowboard, lastly bindings.
The main thought is that no matter what, you are going to be wearing/using your boots the most out of any of your snowboard gear. Buying a cheap pair of boots that don’t fit well will end up being something that you regret.
Although the list of boots below still have quite a few differences between them in features, they all have a few major things in common. As they aren’t for beginners, they will all have a medium to medium/stiff flex, so they will give your feet plenty of support as well as giving you a responsive ride.
Most of these are at the top of each brands range, so they have good liners that are heat moldable. You can either get the liners molded to your feet at a snowboard shop, do them yourself at home or let them mold/break in naturally by wearing them.
