Features of the Capita Indoor Survival

  • Freestyle Profile
    capita freestyle profile
The Indoor Survival is flat under your feet, and then has reverse camber sections towards the nose and tail of the board. The flat section is going to give you a more solid feel when you are riding fast, and the reverse camber sections help to keep it a loose and easy to turn feel. If you are riding it in powder, the reverse camber sections are going to help keep it afloat.
  • Inlaid Titanal Struts
  • RFC Sustainable Select Core
Made up of single species Poplar wood, these cores give you a smooth and consistent ride. There are no knots or finger joins in this core.
  • Special Blend Fiberglass
The Special Blend Fiberglass is a more eco-friendly process, that uses less energy, and doesn’t contain some of the bad chemical stuff that other resins use.
  • Plant Based Evo Resin
60% of the resin is made with renewable, agricultural raw materials, that is made with no waste or green house emissions.
  • XXX[TRUDED] Base
A hard and durable base that keeps the cost of the board down.
  • Multitech Level 7 DeepSpace Silkscreen
  • PAM16000 Topsheet
  • Level 3 DeepSpace Silkscreen Base
  • PLT Topsheet Technology
Basically this means that the topsheet of the board is shiny, and made in a way that keeps it light, and doesn’t let the pattern of the fiberglass show through.
  • 360 Degree Steel Edges
Nothing that special, it just means that the edges run the whole way around the board.
  • Full ABS Sidewalls
  • Stainless Steel 4×2 Inserts
Plenty of options for binding stances.
  • Titanal Base Inlay
A metal Capita logo that is set into the base of the board.

If you are looking for a flat/rocker board and don’t have a huge amount of money to spare, this might be a good choice. The medium flex rating is going to give it enough strength to handle high speed riding, but you will still be able to press it.

The rocker/reverse camber tip and tail are going to do a couple of things, keeping the board easy to turn, easy to press and give you some extra float in deep snow.

It has an extruded base, which is slower, but has the upside that it doesn’t need much maintenance, and is easy to repair if you do damage it. It is pretty standard to have extruded bases on boards around the $400 price range.

If you have a little bit of extra money to spend, it would be worth having a look at the Nitro Glory Stomper as well, it has a similar profile, flex but has a faster base material.
