Not a huge amount of changes to the Ride lineup this season – they have 20 boards that cover all styles of riding.

Ride Camber Profiles
With 6 different profiles, it isn’t too hard to get your head around the different designs.
Twin Hybrid Camber
A twin shape, that has a camber profile, with just a little bit of rocker on the nose and tail.
Directional Hybrid Camber
Mostly camber, but with a big rocker nose. Very similar to what other brands would call S-Camber.
Twin Hybrid Rocker
A variation on the Twin Hybrid Camber, though the difference is that this has more rocker than camber.
Directional Hybrid Rocker
Has a directional shape, with the hybrid profile that has a large rocker section on the nose, and a smaller rocker section on the tail.
Twin Rocker
Overall, it has a flat profile, with rocker sections on the nose and tail.
Directional Rocker
A directional shape, that has a large rocker section on the nose, small rocker on the tail and flat through the middle.
Base Materials
The same for every brand, there are the two main versions of base materials – sintered and extruded. Extruded is easier and cheaper to make, it keeps the cost of the board down, and doesn’t need much maintenance, though they aren’t very fast.
Sintered bases are much faster, but you do need to wax them. A properly maintained and waxed board with a sintered base will be quick.
There are different levels of sintered bases, the denser and harder the material, the faster it will be.
Extruded Base
A basic 1500 Ptex material, that is cheap and easy to repair. Found on their entry level boards.
Sintered
A harder, faster and more durable option, it is made from 4000 Ptex.
Sintered Low Friction Race Base
The highest grade sintered material, that has carbon infused for the fastest speed.
Ride Commissioner
The Commissioner is the full on, fast, stiff and expensive option from Ride. If you have plenty of money, and just like to ride fast this could be what you are looking for.

Ride MTNPIG
Compared to the rest of the boards in the Pig series, this is the closest to a regular board. You don’t need to size it down, and it has a regular waist width and a regular sidecut. It is going to suit riders who like to ride fast, want a board that is stable if you straightline it, and need it to float in powder.

Ride Superpig
The Superpig is basically an upgraded Warpig, for riders who want to get more out of the board than the Warpig can give. Just like the Warpig, you still need to size it down 6 to 10cm smaller than your regular board. The main difference that you will notice is that it is quite a bit stiffer, and the camber profile gives it very good edge hold, pop and stability. It has a fast race level sintered base, so if you keep it waxed you won’t have any problems with speed at all.

Ride Burnout
This would be one of the main park board options from Ride, especially if you like to ride more jumps than rails. It’s a twin, with a medium flex and a fast sintered base. The sidecut is a mix which has a mellow (larger) radius on the nose and tail of the board, with a more aggressive (tighter) radius between your feet. It does a few things, makes it easy to ride straight in and out of features, but can still get an aggressive carve, as well as has some extra width under the bindings which will help those with bigger feet.

Ride Bezerker
The Bezerker is a directional, tapered board that is made to be a solid all-mountain and powder board. Rocker in the nose helps the board to float, and combined with the taper make is turns smooth and easy to start. Camber through the rest of the board will make it stable on hardpacked snow, and give it a solid and poppy feel.

Ride Warpig
Other than adding some extra sizes a few seasons ago, they got everything right with the Warpig from the start. A weird and fat volume shift board, you want to ride this much shorter than you would for your regular board. The wide waist width helps to keep it stable even with the shorter length, and the extra width means that riders with bigger feet can still carve hard without having to worry about too much toe or heel drag.

Ride Helix
One of their most aggressive park boards, the Helix has a stiff flex, plenty of camber and a fast base. As the nose and tail suggest, it has an asymmetrical shape, which means that there is a smaller heelside radius, so that it is easier and has a more natural feeling for heelside turns.

Ride Machete

Ride Twinpig
Out of the Pig series of boards, the Twinpig is quite a bit different from the others. The idea is to take the good parts of the Warpig, and put it into a twin shaped board that will ride well in the park. It has an asymmetrical shape (like the Helix) which means that the the heelside sidecut is smaller than the toeside, which will help it make turns that are smoother and easier than on a regular board. On top of that, the Twinpig has quite wide waist widths, so even if you have big boots (size 11+) you might not even need the wide version, the regulars are very wide anyway.

Ride Kink
The Kink is their street or rails park board, that has a softer flex, with a camber profile with just a bit of rocker on the nose and tail. The Slimewalls help to absorb impacts and smooth things out, and the Impact plates make the board stronger under the bindings. I am not sure if this one has the thicker Cleave Edge edges, which would make sense for a park board to have – but the Ride website doesn’t list it as a feature for the Kink.

Ride Agenda
The Agenda is their entry level board, that is perfect as a riders first board, or for someone getting their own setup rather than renting. It has a bit of camber, toned down with rocker on the nose and tail for a smoother and less catchy ride, and a soft beginner friendly flex. The simple extruded base and Foundation core keep the price right down.

Ride Psychocandy
The Psychocandy is based on the mens Warpig, but made in sizes that suit womens feet. Just like the Warpig, it is still wider than normal, and it is meant to be sized down 3-6cm shorter than your normal board. With the flat to rocker profile, it has a stable feel at high speed, and the rocker in the nose gives it plenty of float in powder. The base is sintered, so it will keep you riding quick in all snow conditions.

Ride Back Talk
The Back Talk is one of their womens park boards, that is going to suit more aggressive riders who want a lot of response from the board. It has a stiffer flex, a fast sintered base and and asymmetrical sidecut for smoother and easier heelside turns.
It has quite a lot of other features added in which make it a high end park board. Carbon Slimewalls add carbon into the urethane sidewalls, as well as the Carbon Array 5 stringers which helps to get pressure directly to the edges when you are turning. The thicker than normal Cleave Edges help to resist cracking from riding rails and hard landings.
