Although there isn’t much to this little portable boot dryer, it does its simple job well.
Features of the Therm-ic Boot Dryer
Compact & Silent
It definitely is compact, especially when folded up. It isn’t silent, though it is quite quiet, not at all an annoying sound.
Adjustable Length
You can slide the arms out to make sure that it is going to be blowing air right into the toes of the boots.
Fits all types and sizes of shoes and gloves
The arms extend and rotate, so it could be adjusted to fit and dry almost anything.
Therm-ic Boot Dryer Review
I never really had the need for a boot dryer before, I would always just leave the boots in a warm room and that seemed to work fine. Things were definitely less of a problem in cold and dry areas like the Rockies, or even the drier parts of BC.
If you are living or just visiting coastal areas with wetter snow, that’s when it really comes in handy.
It can dry some really wet boots in an hour or two, I have never really timed it – I just put the drier in the boots, turn it on and forget about it for a while.
The same thing works well for my mitts, and the little end is able to get into the thumb if that hasn’t dried as quickly as the rest.
There are no settings to adjust on the drier, it is either on and blowing warm air, or off.
It might not be necessary, but if you have ever had to put on wet boots of gloves, then it might solve a problem for you.
