On the entry level of Salmon’s bindings is the Rhythm. It is set at a very affordable price point ($140) and is made for someone who is looking for their own setup to progress their riding. Maybe you are someone who has been snowboarding for a while on rental gear, but want to make the jump an buy your own gear, but not spend a fortune.
They are a soft flexing binding, rated at a 3/10 and are designed to fight hot spots. This means that they are designed so that there won’ t be any spots on the bindings that pinch your feet through your boots. Nothing puts you off snowboarding like pain.
Like most bindings, they have a dual layer EVA padding (soft under your boot) and large comfy straps to hold you in tight.
As a soft flexing binding, you can ride these anywhere and they are not going to hold you back as you get better and improve your riding.
