The Salomon Idol is the all mountain board made for Annie Boulanger. Being an all mountain board, it has the Directional Twin shape, so it is made to turn easily, but can still be ridden switch with no problems,
It has Salmon’s Cross Profile, which has a regular or positive camber section between your feet, and reverse camber sections out towards the nose and tail of the board.
The regular camber section gives you stability at speed, good edge hold and pop, while the reverse camber sections give you a bit more float, forgivness and a looser feel than a full camber board. It has a medium flex, that Salmon rate as a 5/10.
For landing big drops and rough riding, the Royal Cork Rails help absorb impacts and vibrations keeping the ride as smooth as possible.
The Salmon Idol has a hard and fast Sintered EG base, which does a good job at soaking up wax, and is tough and can take a beating.
