The Salomon Burner is a board that is made to make those huge snow days better, and take on those big lines with ease.
It has a tapered directional shape, so it naturally wants to float in boarder, even though it now has a more centered stance.
The stance helps you add control, reduced fatigue (hopefully on your back leg) and make big, easy turns. It uses a traditional camber profile, so you will always have good edge hold and be able to smash though the chopped up pow, while still being able to carve like crazy on the groomed runs.
Salomon have a technology called Ghost Carbon stringers, which are designed to help give the board pop at high speed, but still keep the board easy to turn at low speeds.
The Burner also has Royal Rubber, which are rubber pads inserted near the feet in the sidewall, which absorbs impact and helps reduce chatter at high speed. (Though this is not so much of a problem on camber boards like this).
It comes with already detuned All Mountain Edge Bevel so the board is ready to ride straight out of the shop.
Tech in this board:
- Ghost carbon stringers
- Royal Rubber
- Zeolit hydrophobic material in the base
- All mountain edge bevel
- Ghost Green wood core
- Hard and fast board
- Good for slashing through pow
The Salomon Burner is a good board for someone looking for a no-nonsense high end board that will treat them well on big steep pow lines, or carving fast at high speeds all around the mountain. It has a light, poppy core, and is a safe choice for someone wanting control all over the mountain.
