Rome Royal 2017
The Rome Royal is a forgiving and easy to ride board, that can be ridden anywhere on the mountain. It has the forgiving Freepop Rocker camber profile, which has a rocker nose and tail to keep it loose and flowy, and gives you extra float in deep snow.
Features of the Rome Royal
- Freepop Rocker
The middle of the board has a flat section to keep it stable, and rocker sections on the tip and tail to give it a loose and playful feel.
- True Twin
A symmetrical design, so riding or landing switch is going to ride just the same as riding regular.
- StraightBiax Laminate
Two layers of fibers, that keep the board soft and fun, with an easy to flex feel.
- TTT Core Matrix
A 100% wood core.
- QuickRip Sidecut
The Quickrip sidecut is made to get a balance between a dboard that is easy and quick to turn at low speed, while stable and reliable at high speed. There are three sections to the sidecut, the short, mid and long. There is a tighter radius sidecut used for easy turns at slow speed, and a larger radius used for high speed, while the mid section bumps help add grip on hardpacked snow.
There is a single rod of glass that adds pop but doesn’t stop the natural flex of the board.
- XTRD Base
A tough and reliable base, that is easy to repair and keeps the cost of the board down.
The Rome Royal is going to be a good board if you are buying your first board, or upgrading from renting snowboards.
The simple wood core, and extruded base keep the cost of the board right down.
