Capita Ultrafear 2017
The Capita Ultrafear is a mid flexing, twin park board, that has a flat/reverse camber profile, that has won a whole bunch of awards.
Features of the Capita Ultrafear
- Freestyle Profile
This profile is flat (zero camber) under and between your bindings, which changes to reverse camber out towards the nose and tail of the board. The flat section is made to give you a solid platform to ride on, while the reverse camber sections help to keep the board very easy to turn, as well as forgiving.
- P2 Superlight Core
The P2 Superlight core is made up of an even mix of Poplar and Paulownia wood, which is designed to get the most pop, while still being light and strong.
- Kevlar/Titanal Body Armor
- 1.5mm Cork Dampening
Cork is light, durable and keeps the board damp (which means it won’t chatter or vibrate so much at high speed), and helps deal with big impacts from landings.
- Dynaweave Fiberglass
Dynaweave is a mixture of Triax (3 layer fibgerglass) used on top and Biaxial (two layer) used on the bottom, which is made to get response, strength while still being tough.
- Wax Infused Enduro Base
It is a sintered base, which is a dense and fast material, which means that wax soaks up well into the base, keeping you riding fast.
- 360 Degree Steed Edges with Offset Seam
- Multitech Level 5 DeepSpace Silkscreen
- PAM16000 with Pearlescent Underlay Topsheet
- Multitech Silkscreen
- Die-Cut Base
A die cut base is made up of different sections of base material, that fit together like a puzzle, and make sharp and clear base graphics.
- PLT Topsheet Technology
Basically this means that the fiberglass texture or pattern doesn’t show through on the topsheet, which lets them keep it smooth and shiny.
- Full ABS Sidewalls
- Titanal Base Inlay
An inlayed metal logo on the base of the board.
