Capita Spring Break Twin

Capita Spring Break Twin 2017

The Capita Spring Break Twin is an asymmetrical twin shaped park board, with a 6/10 flex rating and a hybrid camber profile.

Features of the Capita Spring Break Twin 2017

  • Asymmetrical Twin
Being an asymmetrical board, it means that the heelside sidecut is smaller/tighter than on the toeside. Because it is harder to get your weight over your heels compared to your toes, the difference in sidecuts makes for a very smooth, natural feeling on your heels. It isn’t something you makes a major difference, but it just makes turning feel nice. The toe side of the board has a standard radial sidecut, while the tighter heelside has the New Age Directional sidecut with Death Grip.
  • 6/10 Flex Rating
Medium flex rating, solid enough to handle big jumps, but still has enough flex that you can press it out and butter without too much effort.
  • Hybrid Camber
Overall a regular camber profile, which extends past your feet. After the camber section ends, there is a flat section towards the tip and tail, and a very small reverse camber section. It is made to get the benefits of a camber board, while still being able to smoothly start turns, and have less of the catchy camber feel.

  • Carbon Fiber Beams
There are two 30mm carbon fiber beams that run down the length of the board, which give it more strength and pop, but without adding much weight.

  • P2 Superlight Core
It is a very lightweight core, which is made to get the most pop, as well as being able to deal with big impacts. It is a mid of Poplar and Paulownia wood.
  • Dynaweave Fiberglass
Tri-axial (3 layers) top, and Bi-axial (2 layers) bottom, to make it strong and tough.
  • Wax Infused Enduro Base
Made to be a nice mix between performance and low maintenance. Fancy name for sintered, which means it is going to soak up wax well, and keep you moving fast.
  • Level 3 DeepSpace Silkscreen
A fancy name that has to do with the way they are able to give the topsheet some depth, by layering ink on different levels. Just looks, nothing to do with performance.
  • PAM16000 Topsheet
  • Die-Cut Base
The graphics on the bottom of the board are die cut, so they are bright and sharp, rather than the blurrier printed look.
  • PLT Topsheet Technology
  • 360 Degree Steel Edges
Nothing fancy about this, it just means that the edges extend the whole way around the board, which gives it some protection on the tip and tail.
  • Full ABS Sidewalls
  • Stainless Steel 4 x 2 Inserts
  • Titanal Base Inlay
