Bataleon Goliath

Bataleon Goliath Review

The Goliath is a twin, all mountain board that can do it all. It has Freestyle TBT (Triple Base Technology) which gives the board a combination of control and stability. It does that by having 3 separate bases: left, middle and right. The left and right base are raised in a 3d shape, meaning that the contact points are not touching the snow until you set the board on an edge, and when you do the whole edge is in. This gives you all the abilities to carve and keep good edge hold just like a camber board, but when you set the board flat, it behaves more like a loose rocker board.

It has a centered stance and a twin shape, so riding, landing and taking off switch will feel the same as riding it regular.

It has a medium flex, rated (5/10) on Bataleon’s scale. Medium flex is a good match for an all mountain board, as you want it stiff enough that you can go fast enough without chatter, but still have enough flex for the smaller fun stuff.

There are a bunch of stance options, called the Party Pattern which give you loads of options for setting up your bindings.
