APO Iconic Sage Kotsenburg Snowboard Review
Chances are if you have been following snowboarding recently, you would have seen this board before. It is the board that Sage Kotsenburg rides, and what you might have seen him riding when he won gold at Sochi.
The APO Iconic is a park board, so it has a a regular positive camber shape. The advantages of camber mean that you get the best edge hold/control, stability at speed and pop from jumps.
It counts as a twin shape board, but there is a tiny tiny difference in the tip and tail radii, so it is 95% twin.
The core is backed up with two strips of beech to add some extra pop and strength.
It is a medium flexing board, and has a slight dip in the core between the bindings to help with board feel but still keeping its pop and energy.
Like most boards in this price/feature range, it has a fast sintered base.
