The Burton Mint is the best selling womens snowboard boot, and for good reasons.
Overall, the Mint is a soft, light and comfortable boot straight out of the box, and for a good price. They are rated as having a soft flex, which Burton rate as a 3 out of 10.
Technology in the Burton Mint
- Speed Zone laces – They are separated into two sections, so you can easily make the lower section of the boot tighter than the top, or however feels most comfortable for you. To lock them in you just need to pull the laces back to lock them, tuck the little handles into their pockets and you are good to go.
- Imprint 1 Liner – Although it is designed to be super comfortable straight out of the box, you can even heat mold the liners to get the perfect fit for your foot.
- 3D Molded tongue – No pressure points here, the 3d molding means that it is not bent into shape, it starts at a comfortable shape.
- Dynolite Outsole – keeps it all light and strong.
They have a 1 year warranty.
The Burton Mints are a great for a first pair of boots, they are super comfortable right away, are quick to lace up and still give you enough support without being super stiff. Good for someone who is starting out and buying their first setup, and needs some boots that aren’t going to cost a fortune, but are going to let them ride all day with no problems. Although it isn’t ideal to buy boots off the internet, the Burton sizes (in my experince) run true, so you can just match up your regular shoe size and buy the same boots.
They are definitely worth the price, and if you can get them on special even better.
