The Burton Concord Boa is a lightweight, medium flexing boot with dual Boa lacing.
Features of the Burton Concord Boa
- Dual Zone Boa Coiler Closure System
- New England Ropes
The laces are made by New England Ropes, which are tough enough that they have a lifetime warranty.
- Wishbone Upper Cuff
There are cables on the medial and lateral sides, so you get better snap and rebound, but still have the flexibility of a softer boot.
- Flex Notches
Notches in the boot shell, that give it a smoother heel to toe flex, without distorting the boot.
- 1:1 Medium Flex PowerUP Tongue
Dual density material is used in the tongue, to make it durable and give it good rebound.
- GripLITE Backstay Design
A little rubber section that grips the binding high back.
- Total Comfort Construction
The idea of this is that the boots come new with a “broken in” feel, rather than being super stiff when they are new, and then sloppy when they get older.
- Snow-Proof Internal Gusset
There is a gusset that is made to seal the lower section of the boot, so that snow won’t get in through the gap next to the tongue and the liner.
- Aegis Antimicrobial Coating
Helps keep the smell away.
- Imprint 3 Liner
- Focus Cuff
Extra heel hold that is focuses a little higher on your ankle.
- Strategically Placed Rubber Traction Pads
- ReBounce Cushioning
There is extra cushioning in the shell of the boot (under your feet), which will help keep them warmer.
- Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil
The foil sits under your feet, which reflects heat back into your feet.
- ESS Support Shank
Fancy name for arch support.
- Level 2 Molded EVA Footbed
A lightweight footbed, that is good at absorbing shock.
- DynoBITE Outsole
- EST Optimized Outsole
They get rid of the ramp angle on the outsole of the boots, so you are closer to the board.
- Outsole Rubber Contains Recycled Content
- Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology
It doesn’t make any difference in the size you buy, so if you are a size 10, you still get a size 10 boot, but it has the footprint of a size 9. The smaller the footprint the better, you’ll end up with less toe and heel drag.
- 1 Year Warranty
Burton Concord Boa. Finally picked up some new snowboard boots! So far they feel great in comparison to my old Burton Moto boots. I have only had one day in them on a smaller hill so I still need to break them in some more. My only complaint so far is that the top part of the boot just before the toes is giving me some discomfort right on top of my foot. I thought maybe it was cranking the Boa too tight but even when it was loosened it still hurt. Hopefully this subsides! Can’t wait to test these out on the mountains next week! Anyone else have these boots? If so let me know what your experience is with them! #burton #burtonsnowboards #burtonconcordboa #concordboa #boa #camo #snowboarding #snowboardboots #wpg #204 #wpgsgotsole #weartesters #nightwing2303 #sportchek #instakicks #sneakerhead
Boa system is great. Boots are warm and comfy. A little softer than I would like but nothing against the boot, should have bought a stiffer one to fit my preference. But overall I’m happy with the product
Super comfy, fit good. Dual boa is very easy to adjust.
Review said it fits true to size, I wear an 8.5 shoe, the 9 I bought is snug with thin socks. This boot is VERY light. I originally bought the Highline, but am glad I traded up for this. The dual zone adjustability is so much better. It is very comfortable and warm. Two sessions so far, no heat packs needed in 15-20 degree weather. The boot is stiff enough for my purposes, which are either bombing down a double black or hitting rails and jumps in smaller parks. If you want a BOA boot, this is the one to get.
